Meet our CEO

Dara Jones, who serves as the President & CEO of Kymber Consulting Group (Kymber), founded the company in 2017. She has over 15 years of experience across the public and private sectors specializing in federal financial management and policy development. Her journey began within the Defense Health Agency (DHA), where she honed her skills in budget analysis, financial forecasting, and budget execution. Her dedication and sharp acumen earned her rapid recognition, leading to pivotal roles in overseeing billion-dollar portfolios and implementing critical financial policies.

She is a Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), showcasing her expertise in federal financial management. Furthermore, Dara possesses an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) foundation certification, underscoring a strategic approach to IT service management. Equipped with a solid educational foundation, Dara holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University, bringing her financial acumen to the helm of the organization. 

As a native of Prince George’s County, Maryland, her commitment to the community is unwavering. Dara actively participates in initiatives that expand job opportunities locally, fostering economic development to contribute to a vibrant future for the residents of Prince George’s County.
